If you are really so concerned, I suggest you send a brief email to Air Canada, who are acting as your "travel agent", informing them about the ambiguous statements. And tell them that you will hold them responsible if any of the two airlines should not let you fly, since I infer from your description that AC knew about your middle name when they issued the ticket.
They told me already that they can not change the ticket since if they cxl and try to rebook it. Most likely they will lose my seat. I booked this first class award back in November last year. They are very hard to get. Plus i am traveling with my mom(she does not have a middle name).
They until this day are under the impression that no middle name is required and have not been notified of such rule.
Even though they know about my middle name at time of booking they wont take any responsability. They said that is not their fault that partner airlines or TSA change the rules without warning.
