Location for tourism isn't the best, it's about a $15-$20 cab ride to the central/downtown part of town. The Bogota Marriott is more ideal location to be closer to the airport. There is a free shuttle to the airport as well.
Am staying at the Bogota Marriott from Labor Day through approximately September 16. Anyone recently stay there? If so, how was it?
Have heard that this is not necessarily the most "happening" area. As I will be staying there over a weekend, are there other recommendations on another hotel where to stay? Or, is this close enough to the entertainment (safe bars, etc) where we could travel from the bars back to the Marriott?
