Hi there,

I have booked an award ticket from LAX to Frankfurt with Air Canada combining UA and Lufhtansa in first class.

When the agent from Air canada issued the E ticket she put notes about my middle name. She said. No middle name required!!

I have called UA to double check that my middle name was there in their records. They said, yes and it was ok .

Then i called Lufhtansa and they told me that my middle name was in a remark in my reservation. But, since it was not in the E ticket, they could not guaranty that they would let me board their flights.

I have called Air Canada again and they said that it was ok. No middle name required.

I just want to have the peace of mind that i wont' be at the mercy of the Lufthansa agent when checking in for my flights.

Could you Lufhtansa flyers let me know if they are really that strict?
