I've had a long ground hold on a plane in the Caribbean where we were asked to do it to stop ourselves cooking, as the air conditioning was maxed out and not coping with the sun and all the hot bodies onboard.
Not suggesting for a minute that you don't have a hot body, but was there any independent verification that the rest of these bodies were indeed 'Hot'
