You are, of course, completely right. Thankfully the status bonus is still 500 miles minimum, as is Q-points and -miles, based on my experience in Dec last year.

I'm going to go so far as to say this is almost worth the other changes. I've been looking for a way to use my points on Concorde for a long, long time. Now it looks like I've got one I'm a very happy camper
