This is pretty disappointing, as it mean I will probably not be able to do any RTW using ONLY OW airlines that give 100% status miles in booking class M, which is OW Explorer coach booking class.

I assume that booking AA codeshares that are operated by BA still get you 100% status miles plus elite and COS bonus...
