Yes indeed, how horrible that SE and E get privileges that others do not. I am sure they have done nothing to earn them...

Is it just me or does it not seem very odd that an FA is on FT grumping at some of AC's best passengers about following rules?? Wouldn't it be more appropriate for the OP to grump up the line to management about inconsistent application of the rules? Quit blaming your customers for what are clearly process/protocol and management issues.

I kind of feel like I did on my last flight in J to LHR when I declined the meal (having learned from the previous 7-8 experiences that my special meal is either not loaded or has ingredients in it that I have an intolerance for): two FAs barked at me in incredulity that I didn't want the meal and another was rather grumpy when I asked for hot water for my cup of noodles. It is bad enough that I have to bring my own food to ensure that I get something I can and want to eat, but that I have to get grief for it is over the top. Heck, I paid $4000 return for the trip, surely the FA can make a connection between me as a customer and the well being of their company? Wasn't Andrew Yiu just telling us on another thread that the demand for expensive J seats is driving the company forward and thus the limitations on IKK?

In any case, I can't see why an employee would come onto a forum to vent about passenger behaviour. Can't be good optics for AC whetever the legitimicay and justification for the venting. I am pretty sure, in any case, that when the plane crashes (to quote the OP) I won't be worrying about the weight of bags overhead.
