Try not to take this the wrong way, but some of the worst offenders are dead heading AC crews (Rollerboard, Gym bag, Purse, Lunch case, sometimes more). I have my doubts that many of the pilot's briefcases would pass the 10 kg test, but admittedly, and obviously, have no proof of this.

Point being that until the ffs see the crews following their own policies, it's hard to have credibillity when asking pax to follow those policies.

For what it's worth, my rollerboard and breifcase are well within regulations.
