To sort of answer my own post, I was indeed unable to make the web site function with my U.S. Citibank mastercard. The good news is that by calling the LAN.com dept they agreed to make the charge by phone with no service fee. Still, this is just another LAN inconvenience! At this point if AA introduced a true lie flat bed in J I would go back to AAdvantage, but since they don't I will stay with LAN for now.
