I've rented from Hertz numerous times in the past few months and there are several entries on my latest statement. There are pairs of 500 mile Hertz lines on the statement. It looks like 1000 miles per rental.

I think Hertz rentals post reliably. However, it's only 1000 miles and these are not qualifying miles, so who cares!
