If you have any AA segments on your trip you should be able to pull it up, regardless of the travel agency that issued the ticket. Make sure you are putting the SABRE record locator. Sometimes people get a record locator from a different computer system (Apollo, world span) and they can't pull it up. As suggested above, try the middle initial. For example
First name
JS or J S
No periods.
If all else fails call AA Web Services at 1-800-222-2377.
