At home, I avoid hair products that contain sodium lauryl sulphate or sodium laureth sulphate, ingredients often found in industrial de-greasing products I tend to trust Aveda products, and currently use their men's haircare line.

At hotels, since most of my stays are short, I will use the provided products, since I won't be jusing them on any kind of regular basis. On my less frequent longer trips, I will squeeze some Aveda stuff into my Kippie bag.
