I really hope that they weren't being rude to Annie, as she is the best in the UA system. Period. I had a nice chat with her before I left.
I'm not bemoaning the VS policy, and I usually pay for the cabin I expect to ride in. It just seemed a bit steep, especially since I offered to pay 1000 AUD. And it is interesting that I could buy 20K miles for ~25% of the cash cost. The fare was indeed W.
I am taking that same flight in PE in a few weeks. What made it so uncomfortable ? PE is usually not that bad ?
Well, I found the seat really quite hard and even though there was plenty of room the hard nature won out. It was better than economy though.
