I'd aim for the 90 minute mark on a weekend morning; if something goes wrong, and you arrive less than 60 minutes before your flight, you can't board / enter the pre-clearance area, no matter what.

Also, the wonderful MLL is on the exact opposite end of the terminal from the gate UAL uses - leave an extra minute or two for the unassisted walk!
