Arrival in to HNL is at the domestic terminal, from the jetway you will be directed upstairs and out to airside busses to customs. Once there the US citizen lines are usually pretty short. Watch for the connecting baggage room if continuing on.

Does the CBP keep the lanes segregated for this flight? Last time I arrived from NAN, the CBP mixed and matched the lanes. Although I was about 10th in line overall, it took 20 minutes, as all of the foreign visitors were interviewed, fingerprinted, photographed, and given full cavity searches.
