ELM (Elmira-Corning, NY) is my local airport. The only scheduled services are the regional affiliates of Delta (CRJ to DTW) and USAir (CRJ or Dash-8 to PHL), and Allegiant twice a week to MCO.

The county executive is quoted in the newspaper today as saying, "We are going to have a significant announcement in the next few weeks, relative to increased service at the airport. I'm just not at liberty to say what it is."

Anyone care to guess? The other small airports nearby are ITH, which also has CO service to EWR and US to LGA, both on Dash-8, and BGM, with UA to IAD on Saab 340.
