AA has apparently capitulated to Southwest and America West in the PHX-LAX market.

Similarly they've surrendered in the NYC-Upstate New York to Jet Blue.

Next we'll probably see other regional services done away with, not even worthy to have Eagle serve them.

Before you know it, AA will be only serving Transcon, or West coast-ORD-NYC or West Coast'DFW-NYC.

It's a real pity they can't figure out another way to serve the national market.
