Thought people would be interested in an update on this situation:

The GM Stephanie called me yesterday evening, and told me that she has made significant changes in the process that the hotel has been using for receiving packages, and will follow up to ensure that these issues don't continue.

She's definitely already making progress - my coworker had a package successfully delivered this morning with no problems whatsoever. I have a package arriving sometime this week myself, and I'm much more hopeful that things will go smoothly.

A great response from the GM of this hotel, and a positive experience in the end. Hopefully she can continue to make improvements to this property.

She did also note that she follows the threads on Flyertalk, and had seen my post before but wasn't able to contact me (I was asleep when she tried - east coast time schedule). I always take that as a hopeful sign on the part of anyone involved in the travel industry.
