Any reservation made after the change in Skywards now accrues on the basis of outbound and inbound, not leg by leg. So if your routing is (say) DOH-DXB-LHR-DXB-DOH you will receive mileage credit for DOH-DXB-LHR only after you arrive in LHR, no matter how long the stopover in Dubai is. Same procedure for the inbound LHR-DXB-DOH.
Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. So there is indeed a difference between a leg and (outbound-inbound).
