Not familiar with the Post Ranch Inn, but I stay regularly at both of the FS properties you refer to. Neither of the the properties is worth driving any sort of distance, although the FS PA is the best in silicon Valley. I like the FS SF, but the reviews are mixed here.
- If you aren't in Silicon Valley for business, I cannot imagine why you would consider the FS EPA:
Restaurant is wretched. Really, really, really BAD
They charge for parking/internet et al. et al. et al.

Surrounding area is REALLY BAD
Wonderful views of the freeway and Ikea.
(If really lucky: Look straight into a law office and read the briefs)
- FS SF really doesn't have a concierge. They moved the desk out of the lobby and put it next to the check-in clerks. Most of the time the check-in clerks handle the concierge tasks. I would note that I like the FS SF and it is remains my favorite hotel in SF.
- Parking would be troublesome or expensive at the FS SF.
I'd stay at the Cass House, but the reviews on TA look very suspicious. It looks to me like a single person wrote the 10 'excellent' reviews.
