I hate T-mobile.
Technically they work fine with very few glitches but their pre-paid plan is a rip-off IMHO.
1) There is a 10 minute minimum when you log on. This was not always the case but it is now. The whole purpose of high speed is get on, download your emails in a minute or two, get off, respond to your emails off-line and then upload them. ZAP! 20 minutes burned off your plan if you do this.
2) Last night I discovered that my pre-paid plan, for which I have 41 minutes remaining, had been de-activated and I could not log in. Why, you ask? Because the credit card I had on file that I bought the minutes with in 2002 had an expiration date of Jan 2003 and now had expired. But the minutes were already paid for and I was making no attempt to buy anymore. After calling CS at T-mobile last night and talking to a very rude and abrupt CS rep, she re-activated my account like she was doing me a favor and told me to call "The Billing Department" during normal business hours.
3) Over the last year or so there have been at least 2 or 3 times when my password either dissappeared or changed for unexplained reasons. Of course, I did not find this out until I was in an AC after CS hours.
These guys are the pits. I would rather pay an extra $100/year on my AC dues and have AA just supply it for free inside the clubs.
Sorry for the long rant, but these guys run a Mickey Mouse operation.
