Looking for nifty little product like this that is useful just about everywhere, but I dont want to have to use an adapter while abroad.
where can I buy one that will plug right into the 220V outlets abroad?

Most of Europe uses the same type of mains plug and socket so you could buy an equivalent device with EU pins. You can force EU plugs into UK sockets if you know how (jam something into the earth pin to open the shutters on the other two). Does that cover enough of "abroad" for you?
