it was a targeted promo. Sounds like some diamonds got the 1 free night voucher after every 10 paid nights between now (I got it on weds or thursday last week) and some got it for 25K bonus points after every 10 nights and some got nothing at all.

According to the thread on this in the Hilton forum a lot of people that didn't get the email called or emailed the diamond desk and they added it. Here is the link to the thread on it:
