I am new to EF so I may not be understanding it correctly.

If you are trying to get a lower Business fare than ~$12k try booking two seperate tickets
BOS to LAX or SFO
SFO or LAX to MNL Useing AA flight# on CX metal (they have D fares that are changeable)
