Not long ago I came across an old receipt for a flight from LHR to MAD I made several years ago.
The total cost was exactly the same then as it would be now. However todays base fare is the same amount as the taxes were back then....everything has reversed. The pricing structure of an airline ticket has become a farce to be honest.
