Flying next summer in J on a CO codeshare on VS metal. EWR-BOS-LHR-EDI and LHR-BOS-EWR return. The BOS-LHR and LHR-BOS are on VS. Flights to/from EWR are on CO.

On the outbound, I've given myself 4 hours connecting in Logan (for possible delays, Ter A to Ter E walk, and time in the VS Clubhouse). However, on the return, I have a 1 hour, 40 minute connection time to clear immigration and customs and get over to Ter A. Is 1h, 40m enough time? CO told me 90 minutes is the MCT. I've never flown international through BOS before. Can I recheck my bags in Ter E or do I schlep them over to Ter A and recheck there? My BOS-EWR flight is also the last flight out.

Other alternatives are VS through IAD with a 3 hour connecting time, AC through YUL or YYZ (missing out on the VS Clubhouse in LHR), or LX from LCY to ZRH, then the LX Privatair All-Business 738 to EWR. Any and all comments would be appreciated.
