The first and only time I used my Gold tag, someone came up to me in T5 and asked if I could guest his daughter into GF. I told him I couldn't because I needed to guest in a colleague, which happened to be true, but got me wondering what I would have done if I had been travelling on my own. I subsequently removed the tag so I wouldn't ever be faced with this dilemma!
