BW seems stingy in their promos. Right now at Hilton you get your choice of double poitns or double airline miles (and if you chose double ailrine miles you still get the Hilton points plus 50% diamond premium points). On top of that hilton is giving one free night voucher for every ten nights stayed till the end of the years. I know Marriott has a really good promo out right now too.
Seeing that BW is stingy with their diamond benefits, I would thikn they would at least have better promos.
I agree with your conclusion, but the Hilton promotion to give one free night certification for every 10 nights ended on June 30th. The Hilton double points and miles promo runs until September 30th.
With the Best Western's AMERFALL10 promotion you would get
1,250 AA miles for 2 stays between September 12 and November 21. It appears you can get this for an unlimited number of stays if you are a BW elite.
At Hilton you can get
2,000 miles for 2 stays (1K for each stay) up until the end of September and you also get your regular base points plus your elite level bonus points.
At Hyatt you can get
2,500 miles for every stay with American Airlines AAdvantage through October 15, 2010.
At a Marriott through September 6, 2010, you can get
5,000 Delta SkyMiles (SkyPesos)
for every stay starting with the second stay. So as much as I'd like to stay at the very nice Best Western hotel in the town where I travel regularly, I can't ever pass up the better promotions at the other hotel chains in the area.
