Thanks for the debit card tip. That's a good idea. Yeah, I don't buy GCs to satisfy the entire $1,500, just to top off my normal spending (gas, food, golf, etc) to make sure I reach teh $1,500 within the first statement.
What's the hurry? Last time I check miles don't accumulate interest.
