Sure sounds like a more credible explanation than "having to let the brakes cool down because the plane came from Calgary."
(The one time we had to wait on the runway to let the brakes cool down before we could taxi to the gate, it was because they had to land at too high a speed because the slats had failed to deploy. And yes, that was in Calgary... Apparently a known issue with the E90. Possibly fixed by now.)
