idiot! i was also surprised that that flight attendant after came by to check up on them and gave them the thumbs up as if this was planned. how come we didn't get thanked for doing the swap?

Who are you to judge someone else and call him an idiot? So what if he doesn't wanna swap seats? That makes him an "idiot"? Mind you, switching seats to get
away from a baby is usually a good idea.
BTW, (most) people do "good deeds" not to be recognized, bust just because.
