NZ was great for me. My luggage was lost (actually, UA had left it in SFO and it took 4 days to reach me). The baggage person at Auckland told me to go buy some clothes after wait period and when I came back with receipts totalling over $300, he told me that there was a limit, but he would reimburse me for everything. As I was going onwards in my travels, he said to leave info on my next destination and they would deliver it to me in case it did not reach me at my hotel in AKL. So ^ to NZ based on my experience

The worst experience I had was with LH. They made me check a bag intra-Europe that I had carried on TATL. At my destination in MAD, the (contracted staff) were next to useless, told me to come back tomorrow, and that I had to pick up my luggage. Tracking system could not find it. Eventually it showed up at the airport!
