my overall feedback of my trip to Germany & UK was pleasant although there were some things that irked me and some things that i was like "huh?". here's a quick review:

YOW > YYZ: rode business class and everything was hunky dory!

YYZ > DUS via LH: rode business class and thought it was pretty cool until i used their seats. it's not too bad but setting up the seats with the control SUCKS! lol. i was surprised the more expensive first class didn't even have pods. they had enlarged seats like the one in business class?! anyhow, the dude next to me continuously flatulated ALL throughout the flight. is there something i could've done at the time or is that out of their control?

DUS > LHR via LH: a dude in a suit and all took FOREVER to pack away his things in the overhead bin which was actually over business class' portion of the overhead bin, sat down in the window seat, next to a mom with a baby, and then my coworker. i sat a row after on the aisle. i overheard the mom ask the dude if the he would kindly swap seats with the dad to help take care of the baby during the flight. blah blah, looked like the guy didn't want to move but thankfully because the doors close, the seat next to me was empty so my coworker and i agree that maybe my coworker could sit with me instead so the family can be together. yay good deed!!! i thought, what a guy who wouldn't give up his seat for a family to be together. my coworker said he heard the guy tell the mom that it was only 1.5hr flight and that he was sure she'd be fine. idiot! i was also surprised that that flight attendant after came by to check up on them and gave them the thumbs up as if this was planned. how come we didn't get thanked for doing the swap?

LHR > YYZ: i believe LHR has super tight schedules. i don't know why but they seem to claim that the flight is closing when they're still an hour left?! i ended up not being able to go to the lounge before the flight. d'oh! so ya at the gate, i thought i would've given it a shot but couldn't get an op up or was turned down when offering to give up my seat. d'oh! flight was ok except my headset jack was broken! d'oh! i thought i would've gotten a better 2nd meal on the flight. the wrap was SOOO TINY for a "dinner". i was so hungry.

YYZ > YOW: good flight as always but delayed by 30min because the brakes had to cool down as it was coming from Calgary. d'oh!
