This Amex Reserve is an interesting card.

It sounds expensive at first, $450. However, 30,000 bonus miles and 30,000 MQMs are worth that in my opinion as long as one spends the 60k to earn them.

The key is if you are one who spends the 60k I suppose. If you do, the $450 seems to be made up for by the 30,000 MQMs and 30,000 Bonus Miles.

The Delta club is valuable, but not exactly the full $450 value for me (as full Delta crown membership) since it is only when you are flying on Delta flights. I'm seeing this aspect as just a bonus to all the miles for me.

Here are the full rules for the Crown Room membership BTW from the AMEX REZ card:

The Delta Reserve Cardmember must be traveling. Name on ticket must match name on Delta Reserve Card. The Delta Reserve Cardmember must be 21 years of age to enter into Delta Crown Room Clubs without a parent or guardian. The Delta Reserve Cardmember's spouse and children under the age of 21 or up to two companions may enter the club as complimentary guests. Complimentary access is only for Delta Crown Room Clubs. Codeshare partner and other alliance partner lounges are not included. The Delta Reserve Cardmember must present his or her valid Card and airline ticket to club agents. Note that amenities may vary among airport club locations.Meeting rooms may be reserved for a fee. All Delta Crown Room Club rules apply. To review the rules, please visit delta.com/crownroom.

I almost always fly Delta but do not see that you have to be on a Delta flight to use the CRC.

Also, as another benefit from the card - anything you buy with the card will get an automatic extended warranty for up to 1 year more for not charge. This can be a big money saver and pay for years of the card if somethings breaks outside mfg warranty!

BTW, if you want TONS of MQM's have your wife get her own card and then gift the MQM's to you and you can get 60k MQM's before you even get on a flight! Then, you can gift her back Silver when you get your PM status at 75k!
