It is very good but not outstanding for the simple reason that It shouldn't be hit and miss.
I forgot to mention that the delay at the indoor lounge before even being handed a menu happened twice.
Both times the server was busy doing something on her laptop.
The 2nd time we wanted a pot of tea.We had to go over to her after waiting a while. She looked at her watch and after a while decided we should have our tea.
This was at 840pm,it closes at 9pm and presumably thats why she was hesitant.
My view of that was bad service.
We've been to the Four seasons Bosphorus 3 times and this was our first mediocre visit.
Aqua was packed to the gills each night and was creaking under the pressure.
On Night two We were "urged" again for instance to go for the Ramadan Buffet [which I didn't want] rather than the ala carte.
Service at the terrace bar was excelent.Service at the pool on the exceedingly hot days was so so.We weren't offered any drinks there and I had to put up the sunshade myself.
I'd agree that the grounds and the hotel were as immaculately kept as ever but will say again,my opinion has lowered with the service issues and of course the ridiculous idea of putting the breakfast buffet items out where birds and bees regularally landed on them.
Have they heard of glass covers for outdoor items? That put me off my breakfast.
