Nice. That second LAX-PTY flight is definitely new and reduces the pain quite a bit, though I'd recommend doing the 12-hour transit one direction if you can and want to see a bit of PTY. It is a fun town and easy to see a few things in a half-day stopover.

No, it will not be anything like that. It will be like domestic F seats. No extended recline. No leg rest. Nothing close to a typical international business class product.
The lounge in PTY is the Presidents Club there. Decent enough with some cheese & crackers and an open (and tended) bar.
