11 TWA 757s will be returned to lessors as leases expire between 12/03 and 8/04.
Remaining 16 757s will be converted to AA specs beginning in July 2003 at a rate of two or three per month.
Driving this is the desire to reduce costs in managing another fleet type under a different operating certificate, with its own different maintenance program, training program, employee group, and various manuals.
