Well, I live in Houston, so I may be biased, but CO has for many years provided one of the better product among US carriers. Their 772s all have 9" AVODs, okay food service (with menu and towel service, for example). No idea why you would want to avoid flying them. Definitely no worse than AA, DL or UA. And when you get enough miles for upgrades, all of their 772s will have flat beds by end of year. One of the better C-class seats out there.
