It all depends on how close of a friend they are and what kind of sangeet it is. No disrespect to you but if its a distant friend and the sangeet is going to be segregated or attended by people who are a bit reserved minded, then i would happilly miss it. On the other hand, if its organised by a liberal family with lots of drinks and will have good looking people then i would rather miss the wedding itself then the sangeet!!!!

Although saying that, BA 139/BA138 combination to BOM will probably be a B777-300ER with a new First Class seat in December.
