One of my favourite ... and certainly one of the most intriquing and unknown parks in London is the Postmans Park and images.

Admittedly not worth a special trip as it is very small but if you're visiting St Pauls or Smithfield or London Wall it is worth a detour and is an extraordinary oasis in the center of town and mostly missed. Great place to take your lunch sandwich.
