No I'm talking about TG longhauls. Sometimes it is as you say, sometimes much longer when it's bumpy. Irrelevant though, as generally when the captain turns off seatbelt sign early and dings the bell, it's a signal for the crew to get up and do their bit, including starting the drink service and prepping the first meal service, which is sort of the point of this thread. I've never seen the passengers jump up immediately that early in a flight and start wandering around, except for that occasional soul desperate to use the toilet.
