I do think it's pretty low-brow of AA not to have an arrivals lounge, though. I guess the time of their intl arrivals makes them feel it's not necessary?
There were plans for an arrivals lounge on the mezzanine level of the public concourse (just look at the elevator buttons today....the middle level says "Arrivals Lounge").
But then again, there were also plans for many more gates than actually got built.
Project ran into budgetary problems. Remember how long it took to get the FL operating.
