The manager is just flat out wrong. I've spent hundreds and hundreds of nights in hotel rooms. If I were to see bugs on the bed, I would have the same reaction as you. Frankly, a woman who thinks bugs are normal and no big deal has no business running a hotel. It's not just the bugs. It's also the fact that she thinks it's appropriate to say bugs are normal to a hotel guest. Wrong and clueless are not qualities one should look for in a hotel manager.
