If hotel was brand new - maybe book lice were in boxes/packaging containing bedding? Years ago my Brother-in-Law got 25000 sheraton points b/c of bed bugs. Discovered them after they were already bitting him. I don't want to sleep with any bugs. Or bring them home with me!
