You should be able to getaway with 35kg per person, anything beyond that will be charged at a nominal fee (shouldn't be too much since it's a short domestic flight). I did in the mean time. 30kg is free. I think we will have 40kg per person. We are on a two week holiday with scuba gear. Our international flight is to Bangkok. We purchased our flight to HKT sep. I was surprised the baggage allowance was so low. We will just take what we need and if we are charged, we are charged.
