Recharge-friendly and unfriendly airports

I'm carrying more electronic junk than ever and was pleasantly surprised in TPA F-gates the other day, to find cubicles with 4 electric sockets per cubicle right near my gate. After spending too many trips through PHX where there's about 1 outlet for every 400 people, it was really nice to have a place to plug in. Sometimes I hit the airline club and recharge in there but again I find it hard to predict if there'll be an empty socket for me. I travel on the last minute (by which I mean my boss calls me and tells me to book the next flight out) and find my batteries flat every so often, always at the least convenient time

How do others deal with recharging items in the airports? Are there some airports that are just the worst about outlets? If I know I'm going to connect or land somewhere that I can recharge easily, I might be more likely to burn off some of my battery during flight.

If memory serves me, SNA has power strips built into the trim of some of the seats in the boarding area and SFO has like one outlet on the US/WN terminal.
