ok, the hotel name was the Fairfield Inn, in Brier Creek, NC.

As for the type of bug...not sure.

The fact that they were hanging out on the bed, and were very tiny could mean bed bugs. (nymph stage not adult)

Although they looked like Booklice

So not sure what kind of bugs they were.
