I guess you mean you requested the add-on segment? What date/time does your add-on segment flight arrive? If the answer is the 31st, reserve a room. If the answer is Nov 1, then don't. Modify as required. In case your plans change, the hotel rez can be canceled with no penalty up till one day before arrival, 4pm hotel time.

I requested the add-on segment for Monday because nothing had been announced about event happening on Sunday. I'm assuming that the add-on can be switched to Sunday since final ticketing hasn't opened yet? But if that's not the case, then I'll release the hotel Sunday night for someone else.

I was wondering this too. I depart 9/7 & return late on 9/20, first for IBC trade show in AMS & then attending VIE Do. I've discovered that my bank & cc's don't like it when I try to access my accounts from overseas. So through Sept 7th I'm good to ticket (w/ a couple of days notice to move around funds), but after that they can't be moved around until the 21st (so 22nd would be earliest I could ticket once I depart US).
