I dunno. The last thing I care about at a port of call is the actual port (unless it's nearly impossible to catch a taxi) or the city you're supposed to visit. That's where I think Cruise Critic's website is actually useful. One can find lots of great information about independent operators and off-the-beaten-path places that most tourists won't visit.
Granted, on our last cruise, all we did at each port was take a taxi to a beach (as researched by my brother-in-law, an avid snorkler) in the morning, come back to the ship for lunch/nap, then take a taxi to another beach in the afternoon. It was quite enjoyable especially when towing two small kids.
That said, I wasn't very impressed with Roatan, although the spa (as recommended on CC) we pre-booked was a fantastic way to spend the day.
