I looked at your other post, and after reading through the airline rules and various information on FT, it looks like it hinges on if Ticket 1 requires a Saturday night stay that Ticket 2 is being used to get around the stay. If not, then it looks to me like you are okay.
My days are consecutive weekdays, so I'm pretty sure I'd be fine. However, in the future I will always make my "positioning" flights one way tickets. By the way Delta lets you cancel your ticket by Midnight of the following day, so I cancelled mine and plan to correct it as two one way positioning tickets...everyone's made me nervous) -- I'm not sure who or if your carrier allows the same.
since i have already purchased the tickets, is it possible to look up the fare rules and/or find out what the code is so i can look up the rules. My carrier is AA. My dates for the MR are as
JFK-RDU: Oct 16th to start the MR (PNR1)
RDU-JFK-SFO-MIA-LGA on Oct 16th - Oct 17th (PNR2)
LGA-MIA-SFO-JFK-RDU on Oct 23rd - Oct 24th (PNR2)
RDU-JFK: Oct 24th to get back home (PNR1)
